  • David Barrett is a Third Culture Adult and survivor of religious trauma and childhood emotional neglect and abuse. Growing up with a parent who worked for the Seventh-day Adventist church brought both opportunity and isolation, joy and pain. He survived the isolation, grief and trauma of his childhood through laughter, imagination, curiosity and movement. Those tools shape a coaching style that is relaxed and comfortable, but also thoughtfully grounded in ongoing research and personal experience. He is a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach and Historical European Martial Arts Instructor who focuses on growth through small changes and playful exploration.
